BELTAINE AT SUNRISE
If I could gather for you, flowers fair,
the first of summer, slip them in your hair,
to light your face, the tremble of your smile,
how much in love I’d be at what is there.
If I could welcome May in all her bliss,
the window into summer’s melting kiss,
I’d know the greatest joy, though for a while,
and die among the gods, for only this.
If I could open summer, and her pain,
each ray of sunlight fair, each drop of rain,
each courting dove, each flit of butterflies
each welcoming of death, that ends all pain.
If I could capture Beltaine at sunrise,
‘twould shine much like the light there in your eyes…

Goddess is ripe and Her fertility sweeps the land, stirring the fires, and calling us to rise up and dance with HER! She is irresistible, alluring, confident, intoxicating. Not only does She embody the land, but Her sovereignty is the source of all those who would represent the land. Ancient traditional celebrations of Beltane and May Day included dancing the Maypole, bonfires, sacred sexual rituals in the fields to fuel the crops, and celebration of Goddess in Her prime. There is no romantic poetry to Beltane – it is primal, a bacchanal with Goddess at the center as Creatrix. We are halfway to Summer Solstice now and the theme is full bloom.
Mystery School of the Goddess is a busy hive of activity with a diverse range of offerings. New courses are added monthly, so make sure to check in or sign up for the email list.
We have some incredible, inspirational women joining us for Goddess Alive Radio so save the dates to listen live or access the archives anytime. Goddess Lakshmi New Moon Live Ritual with Laura Amazzone is scheduled for May 6 and the Goddess Full Moon Group is gathering for the Goddess Ix Chel on May 21. These are wonderful opportunities to gather in community and connect with Goddess!
