I love cooking with pumpkin and I REALLY love the health benefits pumpkin – a new favorite recipe from The Hungry Goddess is the Healthy Pumpkin Smoothie and I thought National Pumpkin Day was the perfect day to share it. It is full of healthy ingredients: like almond milk, fennel pollen, bee pollen and PUMPKIN!
This only takes a few minutes to make and is a great fiber boost – Enjoy!
Ingredients: (makes 2-3 smoothies)
6 tablespoons of Pure Pumpkin (in the can)
1 banana (ripe)
1 – 2 teaspoons Divine Desserts Fennel Pollen
1 ½ cups Vanilla Almond Milk
1 – 2 teaspoons bee pollen for garnish
2 dabs of Greek yogurt for garnish
Add the pumpkin, banana, Divine Desserts and Almond Milk to the blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into cups and add a dab of yogurt and a sprinkle of bee pollen and Divine Desserts on top.
