Cure yourself with the light of the sun and the rays of the moon.
With the sound of the river and the waterfall.
With the swaying of the sea and the fluttering of birds.
Heal yourself with mint, with neem and eucalyptus.
Sweeten yourself with lavender, rosemary, and chamomile.
Hug yourself with the cocoa bean and a touch of cinnamon.
Put love in tea instead of sugar, and take it looking at the stars.
Heal yourself with the kisses that the wind gives you and the hugs of the rain.
Get strong with bare feet on the ground and with everything that is born from it.
Get smarter every day by listening to your intuition, looking at the world with the eye of your forehead.
Jump, dance, sing, so that you live happier.
Heal yourself, with beautiful love, and always remember: you are the medicine.
~ Maria Sabina, Mazatec Sabia (Curandera)
Blessings of May to all of you!
Goddess is ripe and Her fertility sweeps the land, stirring the fires, and calling us to rise up and dance with HER! She is irresistible, alluring, confident, enchanting. Not only does She embody the land, but Her grace and sovereignty is the source of all those who would represent the land. Ancient traditional celebrations of Beltane and May Day included dancing the Maypole, bonfires, sacred sexual rituals in the fields to fuel the crops, and celebration of Goddess in Her prime. There is no romantic poetry to Beltane – it is primal, a bacchanal with Goddess at the center as Creatrix. The theme is FULL BLOOM.
As much as Goddess is in full bloom, we may have felt a bit like potted plants. As the weather shifts to almost summer, take the time to get out in nature and revel in the sun! Gaia and the Earth Goddesses are just waiting for us, plus we can ground, center, and tune into the natural vibrations of earth. Gaia’s vibes are stress-busting and settle our souls during these chaotic times.
MotherHouse Goddess celebrations this month include the Black Madonna Novena, Mother Mary Novena (beginning 5/15), and a Shakti Healing Circle for India and our world on May 18. Stay connected to MotherHouse via our email list and Facebook group for new offerings and updates!
Thank you for being part of and supporting MotherHouse of the Goddess. I am ever-so-grateful for each and every one of you. Lighting of the altars, chanting, offerings, and prayers are being given each day for our community, our nation, our world. May you and yours remain safe, healthy, and blessed.
**Keep up with our latest offerings on the MotherHouse of the Goddess Events Page
**PLEASE NOTE – UPDATE FOR MOTHERHOUSE OF THE GODDESS TEMPLE EVENTS FOR 2021
We have a NEW online space for the MotherHouse Goddess Temple Events that begins with May 2021 and will contain all of the upcoming free events for MotherHouse Goddess Temple for the rest of 2021.
My Father passed away suddenly at Winter Solstice and the first few months of 2021 were simply about processing his death, my personal and MotherHouse devotional practices, and keeping my Priestess training going. The Black Madonnas and Mother Mary requested Novenas for May and those were really the first things released for 2021.
Our offerings will be updated in the NEW MotherHouse Goddess Temple Space on Mystery School with reminders here and as events are listed in our MotherHouse of the Goddess Facebook Group.

Check your intentions from the turn of the year. How are they blooming? Walk a labyrinth this month in honor of all the Maries. Decree yourself the Queen of May and act accordingly. Leave offerings of milk and honey for the Sovereign Goddesses of the land on Beltane. Flowers to add to your garden or home that are sacred to Mother Mary: lily, geranium, rose, marigold, morning glory, pansy. Bless your Beloved in the names of Sita and Rama. Dance around a bonfire in honor of Bona Dea, the Good Goddess. Contemplate the figure of Sheela-na-gig and how she leads you to meditation on your feminine power and body. Adorn yourself in flower garlands. Walk the fields and forest and leave little offerings for Artemis for her birthday. Unleash your Wild Soul and run through nature with the Goddess Diana. Cleanse your sacred space and rededicate it this month! ~ Kimberly Moore, Goddess Planner
