Blessings of the LEO Full Moon!
When Leo shows up, our solar plexus, heart, and throat chakras are activated and our personal power center gets a needed boost. Think (and chant) I AM. Use this Full Moon for magick, manifestation, and blessings! Themes for this Full Moon are about personal power and expression – how do we channel our passion into the world for the greater good? Four planets in Aquarius (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn) expand our expression into the collective, but also set up a fixed T square that can create conflict between the personal and the collective.
Some of the more intense astrological themes of 2020 (especially Mars and Uranus) have been brought forward into 2021, but hopefully, we are now better equipped with the wisdom of experience to handle them. This very powerful Full Moon in Leo opposes the Sun and four planets in Aquarius creating a tension between personal and collective needs. What is it that we really want to create and express individually that also contributes to the bigger picture? How can we make the world a better place? The air sign planets will continue this theme all through the month of February when six planets (including the New Moon) are all in the sign of Aquarius. The dawning of the Age of Aquarius begins in the heart. This Full Moon in Leo, the sign of the Heart, illuminates the way out of the collective fear and chaos. It is by acknowledging the power of love and expressing it in our own lives can we move forward. ~ Astrology Update from Mary Lomando
To add to this busy lunation and various cosmic dances, Mercury stations retrograde in Aquarius on 1/30/21 and goes direct 2/20/21. Expect the usual technology glitches, communication misunderstandings, and travel issues if you are still traveling. Take this time for a review of your communities, your networks, how things are working in these areas, and how you can improve upon them. Use Mercury Retrograde as a respite, a time of revisiting everything that has occurred since the last one in November 2020. Grounding into the energy of the retrograde invites the energy to work with you.
Sending you all the blessings for this lunation! Invite the light and leave some of your anxiety and worry behind. The candles are always burning here at MotherHouse and I send you much love and wishes for safety and wellness!
Much Love,
xo Kimberly

GODDESSES FOR LEO NEW MOON
If the Moon speaks to our Soul, then the Sun speaks to our Spirit. She (ohhhhh yes, SHE) is the Life Giving Mother – the light and energy infused into every living being. We open to her inspiration, healing, and purification! The Sun Goddesses have a daily cycle (sunrise, noon, and sunset), as well as a seasonal cycle of the Equinoxes and Solstices. As we approach Summer Solstice, Mother Sun is reaching Her zenith and just after will begin Her slow but steady journey to the longest night on Winter Solstice.
Choose a Sun Goddess from the list below and commit to Sun Devotions for at least a week. For the morning, set your intention for the day and give thanks for new beginnings. At noon, absorb Her healing rays and give thanks for the energy shared. In the evening, review your intentions and offer gratitude for your day.
