Keeper of the Sacred Cauldron, Cerridwen is the Welsh Witch Goddess who brews the magickal potions of divine wisdom and inspiration. She is the guardian of spiritual transformation, and the dispenser of righteous council and ultimate justice. A Goddess of the Moon, Cerridwen rules the gifts of prophecy and magick, as well as the powers of death and rebirth.
Though She herself embodies the facets of Maiden, Mother, and Crone, Cerridwen is mainly honored in the Crone aspect, forming the triad with the Goddesses Blodeuwedd and Arianrhod. She is considered to be one of the five Goddesses of Avalon. The white sow is Her totem animal, and Her sacred timeframe for dedications and initiations is a year and a day.
~ Brandi Auset, Goddess Guide
Cerridwen is a Goddess that likes to mix it up, literally. The Welsh Dark Mother is an Enchantress, an Initiator, and a potent Mistress of Wisdom with a dark side. She inspires us to take a sip from the brew of transformation that leads to a complete shift within and without. Do you dare to sip from the Cauldron?
Join me and Guest Priestess Brandi Auset for a free Samhain Cerridwen Goddess Meditation Circle on Saturday, 10/24 at 4pm eastern. We gather on Zoom – click the button above to get the call information!
