This Full Moon in Scorpio invites introspection, digging in the dirt, and regeneration. We stand with one foot in the shadows, peering into the Great Below, and wondering what on earth is going to happen next. (Don’t ask) We are Unearthed. Our creativity and visions are astounding, the manifestation of them is a bit stuck. Think swamp with all the Scorpio emotions and magick swirling around us. We have banishing and clearing work to do and this is the Moon to make it happen, especially with the line up of Retrogrades and eclipses that are coming.
Call upon Lilith, Inanna and Ereshkigal, Persephone, Hekate, the Morrighan, Kali, Baba Yaga, Tlazolteotl to embrace the energies of this lunation. This May Full Moon heralds retrogrades and eclipses that will be ongoing until the New Moon of July. Banish and Bless. Release and Replace. Do it until you have clarity. Do it until every shadowy corner is gleaming. Do it before the retrogrades and eclipses do it for you.
There is a natural law that is a TRUTH about working with clearing energy: We can banish and release and clear negative energy, but if we do not fill up the space that has been cleared with positive, intentional energy, with blessings, then the negative energy is likely to return.
Release and Replace. Banish and Bless. Always. Nature abhors a vacuum.
Need more light? This is also the Wesak Moon, the time when Buddha became enlightened. Pull that Buddha light into your shadows. Make that light the blessing that fills your internal spaces and radiates through every aspect of your life.
From my heart to your heart, I send you and yours well wishes and much love. In the next few months, where there are challenges, there are also gigantic opportunities.
Be well, be safe, and I hope to see you in the circles and upcoming events! Thank you for being part of our community!
xo Kimberly

The Death card is the Major Arcana Tarot that is associated with Scorpio and we know that this is not the final Death, but the death of the next step, of rebirth.
This ancient dust. Her lungs reek of it. This stuckness. And her fragmented selves want to fight their way beyond the self-made tethers. She could open her heart to clearly see the rebirth that is being offered, but sometimes it’s just so hard to see. The Muse smiles down to remind us to just let go … and to allow the old to decay in order to create the nutrients for the new. Fill your lungs with the crisp air of something unexperienced, and know that these beautiful, fertile grounds will be the brewing pot for things you have dreamed of, but not yet found. Let go of the things that have kept your lands sterile, and rise in your rebirth. Awaken to the truth that everything you need is inside of you, and from this perspective of seeing new growth, may you notice that from a distance, a burial and planting look a whole lot alike. ~ Chris-Anne, The Death Card, The Muse Tarot

Are you feeling it? The whispers from Goddess, Ancestors, and Good Spirits inviting you to connect. The pull of the Beloved Dead, Ancestors, and Good Spirits is most palpable as we wind our way to Samhain (All Hallow’s Eve), but working with the Ancestors and Good Spirits is a journey of love that may be taken at anytime. Leading us through the innermost labyrinths are the the Dark Mothers whose liminal natures signify the mysteries of life, death and rebirth. We accept their guidance through the darkness that spirals into and connects with the wisdom of the Ancestors and Good Spirits.
Join me on a 30 day journey. Let’s shift between the worlds, sit in Hel’s hall, meet Hekate at the crossroads, walk the cemetery with Maman Brigitte, and witness the dead with Ma’at. ~ Kimberly Moore – The Beloved Dead
Join Sitting with the Dead Facebook Group – a joint group with MotherHouse Goddess Temple and Mt. Shasta Goddess Temple with Priestess Yeshe Matthews. We will be having a call on Saturday, May 16 to talk about practices to assist the Beloved Dead in their transition in these chaotic times. Event information will be posted in the group.
Astrology Update from Mary Lomando, plus a Goddess Bastet Meditation!
This month, the Full Moon is in Scorpio, the fixed water sign ruled by both Mars and Pluto. These two fixed signs (Sun in Taurus and Moon in Scorpio) also signify the need to break down long -held emotional, psychological and physical patterns wherever a system is stuck. The “shadow” side of the fixed signs is that they can become possessive and obsessive. We see this with people who hoard material possessions out of fear, as well as with institutions and governments who blame and scapegoat each other. NOW is the time to let go, forgive, and move on to create something new. Nothing in this universe remains stagnant for very long. Change and growth is inevitable. ~ Mary Lomando
Wild Magic of the Hare Moon from Michelle Boxley with Goddesses, Magic, and Practices!
Scorpio Moon often brings secrets and truths to the surface to be dealt with, cleansed and released. Honesty and communication was also a theme we explored during the New Moon in Taurus. Ask yourself if you’re being honest with yourself and those around you? Are there words you long to say but are holding back for some reason? Mantra can be a wonderful tool to help open up the throat chakra.
With Scorpio ruling the Sacral Chakra and Taurus ruling the throat, it’s also time to have a look at our creativity which is associated with both of these chakras. Again, ask yourself if you are holding yourself back in anyway? What are your creative dreams and wishes? Journal about them, create vision boards and fill yourself up with inspiration and encouragement. If you want to dance, dance if you want to paint, paint, whatever it is that your soul is calling you to do, can you get out of your own way and express yourself fully. Who would you be if you let yourself shine? ~ Michelle Boxley
