When you wake; stand up to face/greet the sun – even if there are clouds covering the sun, face your body in its direction. Close your eyes, breathe in the sunlight and ask for today to be filled with light, with peacefulness, and with calmness. Give thanks for this.

Before you start your morning routine; place your hands upon your heart, breathe in, breathe out, feel your heartbeat, and imagine a bright white light from Spirit shining powerfully into your heart and as your blood circulates through your heart, it is being bathed by this light, so that as it circulates throughout your body, your body is cleansed, renewed and strengthened. Give thanks for this.

As you begin your day, allow for whatever emotions are present, to be present. Do not suppress or push them away, simply allow them to unfold all day long until you find yourself on the other side of them. Give thanks for this.
