“Love yourself enough to set boundaries. Your time and energy are precious. You get to choose how you use it. You teach people how to treat you by deciding what you will and won’t accept.” – Anna Taylor
Self Care has become quite a buzzword in the past few years. Not only do we bear the brunt of busy lives, but we also bear the brunt of the expectations of what we SHOULD BE DOING. Those who choose themselves first are considered revolutionary, sometimes selfish, but our time to recharge must be considered Holy or eventually we hit a wall. Life is a balancing act and YOU are the primary focus of that act.
Here is my Self Care Manifesto … I WILL …
Create Every Single Day. Create Magic, Create Beauty, Create Love, Create My Self in Goddess Image.
Make My body My temple. More healthy foods, less junk. Eat Mindfully, Consciously, Lovingly.
DO EPIC SHIT. (I totally stole that from a meme but I cannot say it better)
Enter into a deep, intimate relationship with Nature. Walk every single day.
Explore, expand, and expound upon my journey with Goddess.
WomanCircle. WomanRitual. Woman.
Write. Write More. Write the Courses. Write Poetry. Write Books. Write.
Adorn my Self in jewels. The jingles, the shiny, the colorful, the meaningful – I deserve to be adorned.
Be in a space of light and air. My home represents the Sacred, the Sanctuary, the Welcome, and the Nourishing. (housecleaning fairies included).
Hone my body. Cherish my body. Yoga my body. Dance my body. Move my body.
Friends, Laughter, Entertainment, Cooking, Loud Car Singing, Soulful conversation with coffee and herbal tea. More of that.
Create memories that are full of light, laughter and a life well-lived.
