Hello Everyone,
As we approach the summer season, this is the time our “inner traveler”(especially with a Full Moon in Sagittarius) wants to come out and explore new vistas. I would like to invite those of you feeling the call to return “Home” to Egypt with me in November. Whether you have already been to Egypt, or this is your first time, now is the time to experience Egypt before the crowds return. In addition to our luxurious Nile cruise, we stay at beautifulspa hotels amidst Luxor’s temples and the Giza pyramids. Many trips are advertised, but for those who truly feel Egypt in their hearts, this is the tripyou have been waiting for.

FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS : MAY 29, 2018
Sagittarius is a fire sign and symbolizes Man’s spontaneous quest for knowledge; it is the spirit of Prometheus stealing fire from the gods in order to enlighten humanity. The sign Sagittarius governs our personal belief systems, and our “quest” for the meaning of life. The planet Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, and it governs our search for enlightenment and expanded consciousness. It is no accident that in the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey”, the planet that serves as the “guiding force” for humanity is Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius.
New Moons and Full Moons are cosmic portals which pierce through the veil of time and space allowing us to expand our perception beyond the constraints of material 3D reality. The three days prior and three days after a Full Moon are especially potent times for releasing physical, mental and emotional blockages. The peak of this particular Full Moon coincides with “Saga Dawa”, the Tibetan celebration of the birth and enlightenment of the Buddha. According to tradition, our prayers and good deeds are multiplied a thousand fold during this time….and a little (Sagittarian) positive thinking goes a long way!
PERSONALLY SPEAKING:
During any Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are in opposite signs. This month, Sun is in the Air sign, Gemini, and the Moon is in the Fire, sign, Sagittarius. Gemini deals with facts and information; Sagittarius deals with faith and inspiration. This Fire/Air polarity has a tendency to “speak first and think later”, but this could also trigger the response for much needed action.
Sagittarians follows their own intuition and inner guidance tending to be optimistic, adventurous, and good humored most of the time; but they can become vehement opponents when personal, political, or religious beliefs are at stake. Sagittarians frequently inspire others by their actions, even if they are not always aware of it. Their innate optimism encourages others to see life’s options, rather than its limitations. Sagittarians (and those with the Moon or Ascendant in Sagittarius) make wonderful coaches, teachers, mentors and public speakers. Although Sagittarius is the sign that values truth and freedom above all else, its shadow side is fanaticism and dogma. At this time, our news media is filled with hyperbole and exaggeration regarding the current political scene. It is a time for a “reality check”. What we stand for personally is important; the “collective” is comprised of individuals and their intentions. What you believe; you become.
This Full Moon is a good time to ask yourself if your personal beliefs actually reflect what you think, or merely regurgitate what you have been “sold” as the Truth. Have the courage to speak your truth; but allow others the freedom to express theirs as well. We are all spirits choosing to inhabit the illusion of the material world. The Sagittarian Full Moon emphasizes the need to stretch out of your comfort zone and expand your horizons…open your mind…read…travel. We are never too old to learn (or teach) something new. Keeping your body active, keeps your mind active. We may not all be able to hop on a jet plane to a foreign land, but we can all spend some time in nature walking…bicycling…breathing.
All this intense planetary energy focused around such an expansive Full Moon makes it perfect for a celebration: gather friends together, share experiences of other cultures and faraway places; enjoy the freedom of nature. Take the time to meditate; connect with your Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels, Power Animals… trust your intuition. The messages are there for you; just be open and listen.
PLANETARY PICTURES:
The Grand Water Trine with Venus in Cancer, Jupiter in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces is the quintessential water sign configuration. This is a time when great emotional healing can occur on personal and collective levels. Venus in Cancer is about nurturing ourselves and others. It is a time to allow our “inner child” to play and enjoy life more. Emotions run deep with Jupiter in Scorpio; we feel passionate about life, love and everything in between! Neptune is very much at home in ruling sign Pisces. It is a blissful aspect where human love and cosmic consciousness merge. It is the return of the “Divine Feminine”, the state of being where we honor our emotions, dreams and intuition. It is the world of seers, artists and dreamers. During this Full Moon time, be especially aware that your dreams and meditations may hold valuable messages. This Grand Water Trine holds tremendous potential for feeling the love and creativity in our lives, if we can let go of judgment. “Go with the flow” and see where inspiration leads.
Blessings, Mary
