Gratitude and appreciation. In the times we’re living in today it might seem very hard to conjure up those feelings. Maybe we’re full of fear, anger, jealousy, disappointment. Well, we cannot let those feelings get the upper hand. Especially because showing gratitude and appreciation is such a powerful magical tool of the cosmos. It’s part of the equation of how the law of attraction works. What we focus on comes back to us because our thoughts are powerful tools of manifestation. So if we focus on lack of money or bills – that’s what we’ll get. If we focus on how miserable we feel, we’ll continue to be in the dumps and be in a bad mood.
So, be appreciative even if you feel there might be days when the only thing you have to be grateful for is your beautiful cat purring on your lap. Because you’ll get that love and serenity back. But really think about everything you do have to be grateful for and immerse yourself in the positive, gold, glowing feeling of gratitude and appreciation and you will attract to yourself more things to be grateful for.
Be appreciative of the money you have and more will come to you. Be appreciative of the love and good friends in your life and more will come to you.
And remember, the more you feel you have, the more you actually manifest, then you will have more to share with others – to be generous. Because that’s part of the power of attraction equation to. As the circle of reciprocity turns. Be someone who defines themselves by their gratitude and their sharing. Be concerned for another and others will be concerned for you. We are not islands. We are all interconnected and depend on each other. Goddess teaches us our relatedness not “survival of the fittest individualism”. Now this doesn’t mean you have to be satisfied with what you have and can’t want more than you might have already, but focus on gratitude for what you do have – not scarcity and you will get back what you give.
I’d like to share something with you I learned in a Kaballah class:
Take a red string and tie it to your wrist, or designate a piece of jewelry as your appreciation and gratitude “trigger” to help you remember to think about all you do have. In order to create and manifest abundance, prosperity, health, relationship, income and opportunity we need to appreciate the abundance, prosperity, health, relationship and income we have. Forget it might not yet be enough. Be grateful for the amount you do have. Everyday or several times a day, whenever you consciously “see” the trigger, take a few minutes and acknowledge:
* I love and appreciate my family, children, parents, siblings.
* I love and appreciate my friends.
* I love and appreciate my store and clients.
* I appreciate the income I receive everyday.
* I am grateful that I can help so many people.
* I am grateful I am free.
* I am gratefully I can be spiritually free to worship how I see fit.
* I am grateful for the new opportunities that come my way.
* I am grateful I am healthy and getting healthier everyday.
* I am grateful that Goddess is in my life.
* I am grateful for my spiritual gifts and talents.
I’m sure you can tailor that to fit your lives. Consider incorporating this trigger into your daily routine to.
And finally, there is a certainty that comes along as a side benefit of gratitude. Some might call it faith. Faith or certainty you will have a life filled with joy, abundance and success.
This certainty helps our emotional state when things seem insurmountable. It helps us stave off fear and other negative emotions. In the absence of gratitude and certainty our pain might feel permanent and it causes us to focus on our physical lack or a lack of confidence we can resolve our problems. So be grateful. You want that certainty as your ally or antidote. Thank your friends who have helped you. Perhaps go home today and write a note card to those who have been there for you – even if it was months or years ago. Call a sibling or your parent or a co-worker and say thank you and tell them about the lovely thing they did for you. Don’t just let the gratitude be in your heart and mind – pay it forward. Put that positive intention out in the world and watch it come back to you in how your cope and manifest. Make another’s day by showing gratitude and see if someone doesn’t do the same for you.
Watch how it will bring you happiness, serenity, good health and abundance. Remember. Don’t waste energy on what you don’t have – focus your gratitude and appreciation on what you do have and be certain it will grow exponentially in your life.
