The Moon is Full in Aquarius with a partial Lunar Eclipse on Monday, August 7 at 2:10pm, but you may have been feeling the effects for at least a week. If you have Aquarius on or near 15 degrees anywhere in your chart, pay particular attention to those areas of your chart.
Aquarius is the sign of the New Age, transformation, community consciousness, and visions of the future. More than ever, we are being called to release old patterns, tired and repetitive ways of thinking, and anything with a focus on the past. Eclipse cycles are 19 years and you can gain some information by looking back to where you were in August of 1998.
This Full Moon is also opposed to Mars, adding extra intensity and extra layers of emotion, as well as trining Jupiter which can be a source of strength and fortune.

More about the Goddess Bhumi
May Earth the Goddess,
who bears her treasure stored up in many a place,
gold, gems, and riches, giver of opulence,
grant great possessions to us, bestowing them with love and favor …
Pour … a thousand streams of treasure to enrich me!
~ Atharva Veda
Bhumi, also knows as Bhudevi and Prithvi (earth), is the personification of Earth as Goddess and is also a divine emanation of the Goddess Lakshmi.
She is life-giver, sustainer, and Mother of all living creatures. She is growth, abundance, prosperity, and the protection of natural resources. We frequently see Bhumi depicted with a green sari (life-giving) and/or with a large headdress. She is also associated with the blue lotus and is shown with an owl (Lakshmi’s mount) or elephants (the stability of Earth).
The four-armed Bhumi holds a pomegranate, a water vessel, a bowl of vegetables, and a bowl of herbs. In the standing position, Bhumi signifies her readiness to rush to the aid of her children.
More about Ganesha and his Mantra to Remove Obstacles and Bring Blessings
Before we can welcome new beginnings and his blessings, we need to move the obstacles that are blocking our potential!
Ganapati is one of Ganesha’s earliest titles and appears in the Rig Veda (sacred Vedic texts). It means Chief of the Ganas, and ganas is the word for tribe, community. So Ganesha as Ganapati is the leader of the community and also the master of sounds. Today, Ganapati and Ganesha are interchangeable.
When chanting this mantra, sink into Ganesha. Surrender to him. The obstacles that move out of your life in the practice of this mantra may shock you, surprise you, or confirm what you have secretly known all along. Our sacred voice and this mantra become the prayer of courage and the invitation to Ganesha that we are ready for new beginnings, ready to release what is holding us back, and trust his wisdom.
Chant 108 times minimum. Listen to Deva Premal chant and sing along!
Are you ready? Let’s chant!
Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha
Om Guhm Guh-nuh-puh-tuh-yea Nah-mah-hah
—Om and salutations to Ganapati (Ganesha)
