Dreams open us to an ocean beneath the surface of our consciousness, where hidden emotions, memories, thoughts, and desires reside. But dreams also take us to even deeper realms where our soul and true self live, where we exist beyond our bodies and this physical dimension, and where we connect to the source of all creation.
Just like the ocean, our dreams are powerfully impacted by the phases of the moon, and have the potential to send us transformative messages from our soul. But in order to receive such messages clearly, we must ask for them. I have been working with my own dreams and those of my clients for fifteen years. But I didn’t realize until a few years ago that we can actually request specific guidance through our dreams. When you do so, you leave out a lot of the guesswork; Question given, answer received.
This month, use the following guide to set a nightly intention before going to sleep. By asking your soul for guidance through your dreams based on the moon’s phases, you will be in flow with the Goddess herself.
Step 1. Ask for Guidance
“Dear, Soul (or Goddess), I would like to request your presence. I am open to receiving your great and abundant wisdom through my dreams. Please guide me”
Step 2: Set Your Intention
July 4, New Moon: “What new potential and opportunity await me this new moon cycle?”
July 5-10, Waxing Crescent: While meditating on one wish, “How might I make this wish come true?”
July 11, First Quarter: “What challenge must I face and overcome?”
July 12-18, Waxing Gibbous: “What choices lay before me, and what decisions do I have to make?”
July 19, Full Moon: “How might I more fully express my true self to the world?”
July 20-25, Waning Gibbous: “What do I have to be grateful for, and how might I share this love and gratitude?”
July 26, Last Quarter: “What must I release and let go of so that I may continue my soul’s journey?”
July 27-31, Waning Crescent to Dark Moon: “What shadows from within call for integration and acceptance?”
Step 3: RRR (Replay, Record and Remember)
Keep a journal by your bedside, and immediately upon waking replay your dream in your mind. Then record it by writing it down. Continue to speak your dream aloud, replay and read your notes to remember it.
