Hello Everyone, Happy Thanksgiving!
I have just returned from Egypt; and, as usual, It was a trip filled with mystical adventures, spiritual insights and magical meetings. I have never felt more safe or more at home in Egypt. Our private time inside the Great Pyramid on 11:11 will be in our hearts always, as our prayers for peace and compassion echoed with those of like-minded souls around the world. Unfortunately, world events do not always mirror love, and this is our biggest “test” as spiritual beings inhabiting a very dense material world. As the sounds of chaos and fear echo louder in 3D, it is more important than ever not to become blinded by fear, blame and intolerance. This is the Full Moon of Thanksgiving, and the beginning of what we call the “holiday season” in the West. It is the time for sharing our gifts and for being grateful for the blessings of family and friends. When you reach out to help those that have less, your inner resources multiply. Where there is Love, there is no room for fear.
Full Moon in Gemini November 25, 2015
The Full Moon of November 25 falls at 3 degrees in the sign of Gemini, the Twins. This Gemini Full Moon is the Air sign “messenger”, which follows the previous Scorpio New Moon’s emotional intensity. The sign Gemini is ruled by the planet, Mercury, the Messenger of the gods. The message here is that we are not just ruled by our emotions. It is our ability to think and communicate (whether written, spoken or telepathically) allows all humans to learn, disseminate knowledge, and evolve to new awareness.
Astrologically, Gemini is represented by the symbol of the Twins, which we can decode as the left and right brain; logic and intuition working together. Balancing intuition with rationality is the “new normal”. Words are powerful. They can create new worlds or destroy them. Rhetoric, propaganda, and media spins can have a brain-washing effect, if we are not discerning individuals. Negative thought forms bombard us ceaselessly. We must learn to turn off the “interference” and pay more attention to our own inner guidance. If you are not sure how to do that, take a meditation or yoga class…breathe more…walk in nature. Today’s scientific discoveries have raised the bar on the human condition. Scientists have measured that the more we think a particular thought, the deeper the pathway in the brain becomes. Repeating mantras and positive affirmations now have a sound basis in scientific fact. As we look at opening up to new cognitive abilities, it is also important to realize that we are creating new worlds. Inner space, outer space, cyberspace…we are pushing boundaries in all directions.
During this Full Moon, our thoughts, our beliefs and especially, our words are “resonance messengers” transmitting vital information to our brains, our cells, and our world at large. This is the perfect time to declare your “Thanks” by giving to others and by being grateful for all that you have in your life. There is no glass ceiling on the Truth. “As a man thinks, so he is.”
Planetary Pictures: The Mutable T-Square:
During this Full Moon we have three planets (the Sun, Mercury and Saturn) all in the sign of Sagittarius in opposition to the Gemini Moon and squaring. Neptune in Pisces. This is called a “t-square”, and when it occurs in the mutable signs, a literal information explosion of neuronal activity happens in our brains. The Sun with Mercury and Saturn in Sagittarius is all about higher law, philosophy and religious views. It signals taking our beliefs very seriously. With these planets opposing the Moon in Gemini, we must be cautious of overreacting emotionally to words (and the media), especially political or religious overreaction. Neptune adds confusion to this mix, so we must really focus on what is “truth” and what is “real” as we become inundated with data. It is important to remember that not all information is “wisdom”.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or frazzled by the constant barrage of incoming information, it’s time to literally “pull the plug”, and take the time to recharge your psychic batteries. Longer winter days mean less sunlight and fewer opportunities to experience fresh air and physical exercise, so it is increasingly important to unplug from the media matrix for a few hours every day and give yourself a rest. Listen to a relaxing audio tape, read a good book, meditate, or try a few yoga exercises on your own. Even ten minutes a day spent “unplugged” can have lasting benefits for your physical and mental health.
Venus and Mars in Libra:
Both Venus and Mars are in the “peace-maker” sign of Libra right now. Although events may be unpredictable (especially in terms of relationships) there is a strong sense of compromise and reconciliation in the air. More potential for creating win-win situations is available, if we can avoid the trap of the “blame-game.”
Wherever the sign of Gemini falls in your chart (by house position) will be activated by this Full Moon. Gemini symbolizes how we perceive the universe around us and then convert it into our “knowingness”. For example, if you have Gemini in the 5th house, you may have a creative skill or hobby that you want to develop more fully (books, music, crafts, sports, etc.); or you may do work that involves children .Gemini in the 7th can experience an active social life. Gemini in the 11th may join diverse groups, organizations or social media groups. The part of the body ruled by Gemini is the arms, hands and respiratory system. Breathing problems, allergies, nervous disorders, and restless anxiety are all Gemini related issues.
During this Full Moon(even though it is a holiday), it is important to find time to relax and spend a few quiet moments on your own, as the psychic bombardment around us can take quite a toll on our nervous systems. Gemini’s, in particular, may feel like they are on “overwhelm”, so try to spend a few hours “unplugged” from your telecommunications and computer devices. What “feeds” your brain? Junk thoughts and mindless chatter? Or expanding your mind and communicating honestly. This is Thanksgiving week, so it is the perfect time for making that ”Gratitude List” and remembering who and what is important in your life amidst the holiday celebrating.
