June has always been one of my favorite months of the year, when Mother Nature is in her full glory and beautiful summer weather is just around the corner. Since this is also the time for vacation plans, I would like to extend a very special invitation to join our upcoming Peru trip for the Equinox/Eclipse gateway in September. As Peru is the reciprocal energy point to Egypt, we will be connecting the “stargates of Giza, Saqqara, Cuzco, and Nazca during this powerful cosmic alignment. Connect with the Heart of the PachaMama and the Gate of the Sun at Machu Picchu for Spring Equinox in the southern hemisphere.
See www.pachaterra.com for itinerary/registration. (Limited space; register by June 15 to assure your place).
FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS JUNE 2, 2015
The Full Moon June 2 falls in 11 degrees of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is a fire sign and symbolizes Man’s spontaneous quest for knowledge; the spirit of Prometheus stealing fire from the gods in order to enlighten humanity. What was “seeded” fourteen days ago with the Gemini New Moon (the gathering and dissemination of information) should now bear fruit. The theme of this Full Moon is “wisdom” as opposed to mere information overload; quality vs. quantity.
The sign Sagittarius governs our personal belief systems, our philosophy of life; our spiritual, as well as political conscience. Are we humans “locked down” in a perpetual 3D matrix of reality, or will we finally access the codes to the higher dimensions of Light? As we move into more awareness of our Galactic “being-ness”, Sagittarius charts the course for expanded consciousness. All Full Moons are cosmic portals which pierce through the veil of time and space allowing us to expand our perception beyond the constraints of material 3D reality. The three days prior and three days after a Full Moon are especially potent times for releasing physical, mental and emotional blockages. The peak of this particular Full Moon coincides with “Saga Dawa”, the Tibetan celebration of the birth and enlightenment of the Buddha. The Festival of the Christ is also celebrated on this Full Moon of June. According to the Lucis Trust, the celebration of this Full Moon is called “World Invocation Day” and carries the “keynote of humanity aspiring to Christ Consciousness and blending many different spiritual approaches in one united act of invocation”. This is the perfect time to “tune in” to your Higher Self/Inner Wisdom and ask for your “heart to be weighed as light as a feather”, letting go of the distractions and negative thought patterns of the Ego.
During any Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are in opposite signs. This month, the Sun is in the Air sign, Gemini, and the Moon is in the Fire, sign, Sagittarius. The Fire/Air polarity has a tendency to “speak first and think later”, but this could also trigger the response for much needed action. Sagittarians follows their own intuition and inner guidance tending to be optimistic, adventurous, and good humored most of the time, but can become vehement opponents when personal beliefs, political beliefs, and religious beliefs are at stake. The shadow side of Sagittarius is fanaticism and dogma. The Full Moon is a good time to ask yourself if your political, spiritual and philosophical views reflect what you actually think, or merely regurgitate what you have been sold as the Truth. Have the courage to speak your truth; but allow others the freedom to express theirs as well. We are all spirits choosing to inhabit the illusion of the material world.
The Sagittarian Full Moon emphasizes the need to stretch out of your comfort zone and expand your horizons…open your mind…read…travel…We are never too old to learn (or teach) something new. Keeping your body active, keeps your mind active. We may not all be able to hop on a jet plane to a foreign land, but we can all spend some time in nature walking…bicycling… breathing … All this intense planetary energy focused around such an expansive Full Moon makes it perfect for a celebration: gather friends together, share experiences of other cultures and faraway places; enjoy the freedom of nature. Take the time to meditate; connect with your Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels, Power Animals… trust your intuition. The messages are there for you; just be open and listen.
Mercury is retrograde in its “home” sign of Gemini this month (until June 12). With Mercury seeming to move “backward” in its own sign of Gemini, it may seem that you are twice as busy, but only getting half the work done. It’s really easy for time to slip through your fingers with a Gemini retrograde. Keep focused; make lists; send yourself reminders (that’s why we have “smart phones”). Speaking of which, this retrograde is not the best time to buy expensive electronic gadgets: computers, cell phones, and cars. If you must (and we all know there are exceptions to the rule), please be sure to keep your sales receipts. There is an “up” side to Gemini retrograde; friends that you have not heard from in ages (usually high school or college) suddenly get in touch. You may suddenly find long hidden “treasures” (photos, letters, poems, journals) while you are sorting through old “stuff”. During this retrograde any type of re-editing, re-writing re-searching or re-selling is appropriate. Job interviews are fine; you may just have to wait a bit longer than usual to get a call back. As usual with retrogrades, important communications (like checks) may be held up. Your own birth chart will tell how well you do with Mercury retrogrades; many people are born with Mercury retrograde in their birth charts, and not everyone experiences the retrograde in the same way.
Neptune T- Square: The planet Neptune, which rules our spiritual perception and inner “knowingness” is forming a challenging aspect (known as T-Square) with the five planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Saturn) during this Full Moon time. This is not the most optimal time for making major decisions, especially with Mercury retrograde until June 12 (see below). Logic and facts may not be forthcoming; and our normally astute left brain may feel a bit “foggy over the next 2 weeks. The “antidote” for Neptune is to open our awareness to more right brain creativity: meditate more, be conscious of your dreams, rely more on your “gut feelings” and intuition. Listen to your heart. Try to imagine what it would be like without our modern obsession with useless information /mental clutter. Unplug from all the chaos by giving Nature more space in your life…look up at the clouds and the stars every once in a while…remember your connection to Spirit…
Neptune defies logical assumptions, but allows the space for miracles to happen. In the “upgrade” scheduled for human evolution, we will not merely be capable of “multi-tasking”, but also “multi-dimensional tasking”.
